你好 Nǐ hǎo
Chinese is my first language.
The Journey
My foundation in formally studying Chinese began in elementary school with the Chinese Immersion program, where I spent years learning core subjects entirely in Mandarin.
In high school, I received 25 credits from Western Michigan University's dual enrollment program, earning a Chinese minor equivalent. Now at Michigan, I primarily improve linguistically through reading books and relying on Chinese subtitles.
